This book contains four very short (approximately 1500 words each) vignettes written from the perspective of characters in Bellingwood other than Polly Giller. In the first vignette, Rebecca lets Cassidy in on a great secret. Sisters take care of each other. Vignette #2 is a wonderful conversation between Henry and Noah. Noah is growing up and finding his way. In the third vignette, Andrew and Rebecca spend a couple of hours together and acknowledge that they might not act like all their friends, but they're perfect for each other. In Vignette #4, poor Mark Ogden is presented with a puzzle when he gets home. Why are there so many clothes on the lawn? Sal and her boys have had a very interesting day and he's about to get the whole story. The Bellingwood books are written from Polly's perspective and every once in a while it's fun to look at what's happening behind the scenes from the viewpoint of other characters. These vignettes were originally published on the nammynools.com website and in the monthly email newsletter to Bellingwood readers.
